The Quick Test DEA1.1
Interpretation of results in dogs
-
If dog is DEA 1.1 +, a red line* will appear in front of the "DEA1.1" sign on the test.
-
If dog is DEA 1.1 -, no line will appear in front of the "DEA1.1" sign on the test.
A red line must always appear in front of "C" sign on the test. The control line "C" ensure that the test has run successfully.
The control line is often stronger than the DEA1.1 line.
*Important: We have identified that dogs have a large variation in the expression of DEA1.1 molecules on canine red blood cells from very weak expression (weak DEA1.1 line) to high expression (strong DEA1.1 line).
This is exactly the same with the expression of Rhesus (D) molecules in humans
